Acceptance of the Terms of Use
Please read these carefully. These terms of use are entered into by and between You and Volume Music Academy, (”Company”, “we” or “us”). The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference, govern your access to and use of volumemusicacademy.co.za, or a registered user.
PAYMENT – Payment is a term payment (school term) and divided into monthly payments to make it easier. Payment is to be made before or by the 7th of each new month or a full term payment before or by the 7th of the first month of a new term. Should payment not be made by the appointed time, we reserve the right to terminate or suspend lessons. Should lessons be terminated, we cannot guarantee that the space allocated to you will still be available.
Students who have been suspended will have to pay the latest fees to start lessons again regardless of whether they were on a cheaper package before or whether they were paying the previous year’s fees.
See the fee schedule for the year. Please also note, no refunds. We reserve the right to increase fees at the start of each new year
Once off payable registration fee og R400 is due
– Music Production: R3600 per term (Monthly R1200) 4 lessons in a month
– Sound Engineering: R3600 per term (Monthly R1200) 4 lessons in a month
– DJ Lessons: R3600 per term (Monthly R1200) 4 lessons in a month Method of Payment:

Statements will be provided via email between the 25th and 30th of each month. TWO weeks time to allow preparation of new timeslots.
NO refunds are given on school payments, however alternate courses can be considered. Credits, refunds and payment plans can only be authorised by the School Administrator.
Contract Termination
To terminate lessons, one month (4 weeks) advanced written notice must be emailed to the school administrators
ABSENTEES & CANCELLATIONS – Cancellations outside 24 hours: Cancellation of a lesson means a forfeiture of that lesson unless a cancellation has been made outside of 24 hours of the beginning of that lesson commencing. In the event of a cancellation outside of 24 hours a make-up credit will be issued for a make up lesson.
Please note that make-up lessons are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Please note that you may only ever hold a maximum of 2 make-up credits during a term and that all held make up credits expire at the end of every term. Please speak to a School co-ordinator if you have any questions regarding this policy.
Teacher Cancellation: If a teacher has to cancel your lesson you will receive notice from us immediately as soon as we are advised by the teacher. We will speak with you directly to arrange a make-up lesson, relief teacher lesson Make-up credits for lessons resulting from a teacher cancellation never expire and you will always receive a make up credit if the teacher cancels.
